Hi all,
I have a Laptop PC running XP and Horizon's Palette Software V10 for Strand desks. I am trying to connect it to a Macbook Pro running Vision 3 for the Mac.

I have tried all the combinations of IP addresses I can think of (the 2.x.x.x, the 10.x.x.x, using DHCP, etc) None of which work.

I know the two will talk using a few of the variations of IP addresses because I also have a copy of the EOS/Ion offline running on the same PC (not at the same time) and they talk. Lights come up! Lights go down! there is a strange flash that happens frequently and randomly. But as the Mac version is so new, I figure it's a glitch somewhere and will be dealt with at some point.

So if anyone has successfully connected the Palette OLE to Vision - either version - I would love to hear from you.

Many thanks,
Nick.

According to Strand Technical support, there is a bug in V10.6.4 where the offline editor wasn't actually outputting any Artnet. They claim it was fixed in 10.6.6, but we have not been able to verify that it is outputting Artnet either. Seems to be a Strand issue, not Vision.
